Moodymannのレーベル KDJやMahogani Musicから作品をリリースしているAndres。AndresはDJ Dezという名前でも活動しており、デトロイトのHip HopチームSlum Villageのアルバム『 Trinity 』や『 Dirty District 』ではスクラッチを担当。またSlum VillageのツアーDJとしても活動歴あり。Underground Resistance傘下のレーベルHipnotechからも作品を発表しており、その才能は今だ未知数である。AndresのDJパフォーマンスはパーティーグルーヴに溢れており、Los Angelsの名物パーティーDo-Overにも参加した。ラテン～ジャズミュージシャンである父、Humberto"Nengue"Hernandezからアフロキューバンリズムを継承し、Moodymann Live Bandのツアーに参加したり、Erykah Baduの作品 "Didn't Cha Know"(produced by Jay Dilla)ではパーカッショニストとしても活躍している。2009年春にはセカンドアルバム『 Andres II 』をリリースした。
